I often hear the question, "How much does a website cost?" The answer is - it depends. You can pay 0 zloty, 500 zloty, 5000 zloty or even 50,000 zloty. Why? Because the cost of a website depends on several key factors.

Type of site - what exactly do you want to create?

The cost of a website largely depends on its type. Here are some of the most common variations:

  • Business card page - A simple website with information about the company, services and contact. Ideal for small businesses. Cost:PLN 500 - 5,000.
  • Company website - Several sub-pages, contact form, photo gallery. For companies that want to present themselves professionally. Cost:PLN 2,000 - 10,000.
  • Online store - Includes payment system, product catalog, warehouse integrations. Cost:PLN 5,000 - 30,000.
  • Site with customized functionality - Booking portals, customer systems, web applications. Cost:10,000 - 50,000+ zlotys.

Each of these types requires a different approach, and the more complex the site, the larger the budget you should anticipate.

Method of implementation - who will create your website?

There are three main ways to create a website:

  1. Do-it-yourself (DIY) creation
    • You can use a page builder, such as Wix, WordPress.com, Squarespace.
    • It requires time and basic technical skills.
    • Cost:0 - 500 PLN (hosting, domain, possible paid plugins).
  2. Freelancer
    • Customized design to fit your needs.
    • Price negotiable, but requires finding the right specialist.
    • Cost:PLN 2,000 - 10,000.
  3. Interactive agency
    • Full support from graphic design to optimization and marketing.
    • Usually more expensive, but guarantees quality and professionalism.
    • Cost:5,000 - 30,000+ zlotys.

How to choose the best option?

  • If you have the time and want to try it yourself - a page builder can be a good start.
  • If you need something more professional, but have a limited budget - freelancer is a reasonable choice.
  • If you want full support and quality guarantee - the agency will be the best solution.

Additional services - what else affects the price?

The website itself is one thing, but there are often additional costs that are worth including in the budget:

  • Graphic design - Unique design instead of a ready-made template. (+1,000 - 5,000 PLN)
  • SEO and optimization - Without this, the site may not be visible on Google. (+1,000 - £10,000)
  • Integrations - Reservation system, online payment, CRM. (+500 - 5,000 PLN)
  • Technical support and updates - The site requires maintenance. (+£500 - £3,000 per year)

Sometimes it is the "small" things that can drive up the final cost of the site. That's why it's a good idea to clearly define your needs and priorities before starting work.

The cost of a website depends on a number of factors - from the type of website, to how it is made, to additional services.

Example price ranges
-DIY website - 0 - 500 PLN
-Freelancer - PLN 2,000 - 10,000
-Interactive agency - 5,000 - 30,000+ zlotys
