Good UX is not an ornament, but the foundation of a working website or business application. In this category, I've collected practical interface design methods that - at least in most cases - translate into more conversions and satisfied users.

We will go through A/B testing of interfaces, behavior analysis with analytical tools and heatmaps. Test results can sometimes be misleading, so we'll also show you how to interpret them so you don't draw hasty conclusions.

We will focus on optimizing contact forms, online shopping processes in stores and navigation of company websites. We will also show how to implement prototypes and wireframes in practice - useful when you need to test an idea quickly without investing a lot of money.

In practical tutorials you will find instructions for implementing UX best practices in popular systems like WordPress or Shopify, in simple website builders and e-commerce platforms. I happen to recommend specific tools, but I always describe the limitations of each solution as well.

You'll learn to set up analytics systems to monitor user experience, use feedback to iteratively improve interfaces, and consider integrating chatbots and live chat - though it's worth remembering that automation is no substitute for good customer service.

Each article includes specific implementation examples, recommended tools and measurable success metrics. You'll find solutions for both a simple online business card and more advanced web applications used by mid-sized companies.
